令和6年度（来年度）より、
小学校で新しい英語の教科書が使われます。
そこで今回は、小学校での
各教科書会社の言語材料の配置をできるだけ簡単に示していきます。
何かの参考にしてくだされば、と思います。
今回は、
教育出版 の One World Smiles の教科書についてお知らせします。

① Lesson 前の “Let’s Start Together” で、３年・４年生の復習をします。
② ５年生の１年間の大部分で
I と you （私とあなた）の間でのコミュニケーションを中心として
・簡単な自己紹介
・助動詞 can の基本的な使い方
・基本的な wh 疑問詞 (what, when, what time where, who, how much)を
用いたやり取りを学びます。
④ Lesson ９ では、
「友達になってみたい人の紹介」をテーマに３人称・単数が主語 ( he/she ) となる文
を扱っています
※３人称が初登場です。
⑤ 5学年では、全て「現在」の文を扱います。

👉チェックポイント
① Lesson 前の “Let’s Start Together” で、5年生までの語彙の復習をします。
② ６学年での一番のポイントは、「過去形」の登場です。
・表現に必要な規則動詞と不規則動詞が混在して扱われています。▶︎Lesson 4
・「過去」の話をたずねる言い方として、
What did you do? の表現を用いて、その答えとして「過去形」を導入してます。
③ 扱う題材、語彙により、自分のこと、第３者のことをより一層具体的に表現できるようになるようです。
