👉 some のイメージ▶︎「ボンヤリとある」– 数も量も定かでないが確かにある

Dialogue で

👉さあ、ここでは trying というフレーズが出て来ましたね。
try to 「〜しようと頑張っている/試みている」というわけですね。
② but I’m short of some ingredients.
👉そしてここでは、I’m short of some ingredients. という文もありました。
be short of これは「〜が足りない」そして ingredient これは「材料・食材」
を示す単語です。
③ Just in case, can you write those things down in Japanese for me?
👉 just in case これは「念の為・万が一の用心に」というフレーズ。
覚えといてくださいね。

Here you can compare – “some” is that blurry image “some good golf shops”
whereas “several” good golf shops is talking about specific, clear good golf
shops. One last time.
