Lesson 178 限定詞⑦：some の応用
👉 some のイメージ「ボンヤリとある」▶︎さまざまな使い方があります
Opening で
Chris
▶︎ Hey, guys. You’re supposed to be speaking English.
“Charm point” is not English. You have to say “attractive point.” OK?
Roza
▶︎ That is very true. Roza です。
Chris
▶︎ Chris です。
Dialogue で
① We can sit on some of them and try them out.
👉さあ、ここで try 〜 out というフレーズが出て来ましたね。
try 〜 out「〜を試してみる」というフレーズです。
② Look at the price tag, though.
👉さあ、この文では though が文の最後に出て来ましたね。
「〜だが」とつける使い方。よく見られますよ。
③ That’s probably beyond our budget.
👉さあ、beyond our budget というフレーズが出て来ましたね。
「〜を越えて」の beyond – こんな風に使うと、使い勝手がいいんですね。
▶︎そして budget – これは「予算」です。
④ How about getting some coffee?
👉 How about 〜？「〜はどうでしょう」と軽い提案を行う
フレーズです。
