👉２月は、1月に引き続き接続詞ついて学習します。

Lesson 213 時のフロー②

now＋(that)節▶︎「今は〜だから」 now の状況を that節で詳しく説明する形
– そのほかに as soon as, once など

Opening で

▶︎ みなさん、こんにちは。秋乃ろーざです。

▶︎ That’s it? Chris McVay here.

Dialogue で

① Please do!
👉さあ、please do「そうして下さいね」という言い方。
しっかりとまとめて覚えましょう。

② We can invite all our friends. 【発音】
👉さあ、非常に細かい発音の話になりますが、
今のクリスさんの friends の発音、しっかりと真似ていただきたいんですね。
学習者の多くは friends と [d] の発音を全然加味しないで、この単語を
読んでしまうわけですね。[d] の発音を軽く入れていく、それがポイントです。
▶︎クリスさん、もう一度この単語、発音していただけますか。
C: はい、 friends[dz], friends[dz]
– [d] の音がかすかに入っているでしょう。これがポイントです。
– ろーざさん、お願いします。
R: friends[dz], friends[dz]
– やっぱり、[d] の発音が入っていましたよね。
▶︎これを意識しながら、発音練習をしてみて下さい。

③ Can you pick a date?
👉 pick「つまむ」という意味で、pick が使われているわけですけれども、
「選ぶ」という意味につながっているわけですね。

④ Hmm … let’s see.
👉 let’s see という表現が出てきました。
みなさん、このフレーズ、使いこなしていますか。「そうだね」という気軽な表現です。
これは、思い出そうとしたり、考えたりする「そうだね」- まあ、時間稼ぎの
フレーズなんですね。しっかりと無意識で使えるようにしてみて下さい。
