前置詞の学習です。

👉 by のイメージ「近接」から▶︎「期限（〜まで）」を表す

▶︎ Chris, we’ve just started.

Dialogue で

① I have to finish this student survey report by 11a.m. tomorrow.
👉さあ、survey という単語が繰り返し、出てきましたね。
survey というのは「調査」 survey report – これは「調査報告書」という
ことですね。どちらも時々目にする表現です。
しっかりと覚えておきましょう。

② Exactly.
👉さあ、Yes. と答えるのは簡単ですが、たまには Eactly. を使ってみて
くださいね。会話に勢いを与えることができますよ。

③ I surveyed their feelings about classical music.
👉この文では、また classical music が出てきましたね。
クラシック音楽というわけですが、しっかりと classical music と
おっしゃってみてください。

④ I’m going to a classical concert.
👉さあ、I’m going to これはですね、予定を表す表現ですね。
「私はクラシックコンサートに行く予定です」と言っているわけですね。

⑤ They’re playing Schubert’s Ninth Symphony.
👉この They’re playing – これも予定を表す現在進行形。
この使い方、しっかりと覚えといてくださいね。

⑥ That’s a great one.
👉さあ、ここでは one という代名詞が出てきましたね。
この one は、同じ名詞を繰り返し何度も用いることを避けるために
使われます。ここでは、symphony を受けて、one と言っているわけです。
