２月のテーマは受動態・比較
👉２月号のテーマは「受動態・比較」。
– 今まで学んだ配置の知識を使って表現の場を広げていきます。

Well, anyway, I say, and I think our explanations are
easy to understand, that’s for sure.
Dialogue で
① I’m done with my assignments.
👉 done – ここでは「終えて、終了して」と形容詞的に使われています。
I’m done with 〜. ここまで覚えておきましょう。
② I have a lot to do, that’s for sure.
👉 for sure というのは「確かに」というわけです。
この “for” は、基本的なイメージ「向かって」という感触です。
・この “sure” に「向かって」いるというところから
「確かに」となるわけです。
👉その他に for real「本当に」というフレーズもあります。

▶︎ Also a good point to remember is that “for sure” and
“for real” are pretty casual expressions.
Grammare In Action
◎ he might seem と she looks の seem と look の違い
▶︎ seem は「見える・思える」で、「思っていること」に近い。
look は、もっと、もっと表面的な単語で「外見がそう見える」
– ただそれだけを意味する単語なのです。
