👉今年度は「ラジオ英会話」のテーマは英文法のマスターです。
効率的で、本質的な文法を学んで「話せる」英語に近づきましょう。

Lesson 6 基本文型 説明型
👉基本文型 説明型
▶︎基本文型の３つ目は、「説明型」- be動詞の文は、この文型に属します。
会話の場面

・ヤヨイ(Yayoi) と現在ムンバイの保険会社で働いている元同僚のラージ(Raj)
状況
・ヤヨイの電話先になんとラージがいてびっくり！ラージはどうも来月東京に来る予定です…
Opening で

▶︎ Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza.

▶︎ And I’m David Evans. Yeah, Roza. Let’s be nice and not roast him this time.
Dialogue で
① May I ask who’s calling?【 文の部品 – wh節 】
👉さあ、この May I ask – の後ろの “who’s calling” これは、「誰が電話をしているん
ですか？」という意味ではなく、「誰が電話をしている」という、疑問の意味を
もたない wh節です。
▶︎「誰が電話をしているのか」私がたずねてもよろしいですか、という文になって
います。
② I’m in the IT department of an insurance company in Mumbai.
【 insurance company の意味 】
👉さあ、insurance company – しっかりと覚えといて下さい。
「保険会社」です。
③ Actually, I’m coming to Tokyo next month. 【 actually の機能 】
👉さあ、この文で出てきた actually – これは、相手が予想しなかったことを
話に入れる時に使うんですね。「実は … なんです」という「呼吸」です。
④ Sounds like a plan. 【 相手の提案に同意する時の表現 】
👉さあ、しっかりと覚えといて下さいね、このフレーズ。”Sounds like a plan.”
相手の提案に同意するときに使います。「いいですね。」- そうした感触ですよ。
