「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。

◎1月から２ヶ月にわたって
▶︎「感情表現」を学んでいきます。
「好き」「嫌い」など、個人差はあれ、感情を述べる機会は頻繁にあります。
基本的な感情表現をマスターし、会話に彩りを添えましょう。

▶︎感情表現の最初は、「好き」から。基本的な表現を学びましょう。

会話の場面

・新婚のピーコック教授 (Peacock) とアキ (Aki)

状況

・ピーコック教授とアキが、English garden を散策しながら、話をしています。

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza. I just love our English program. Don’t you?
There’s just something about it.

David
▶︎ I agree, Roza. Hi, everyone. And I’m David Evans. I’m really feeling this month’s
content. Let’s do our best.

Dialogue で

① I do sometimes, when I need inspiration.【 inspiration の意味】
👉 inspiration – これはもう日本語にもなっていますよね。「着想」という意味です。
動詞は、inspire「吹き込む」という意味合いを持った動詞です。何か想像つきますよね。

② Yes, being in nature helps me come up with ideas. 【 come up with の意味】
👉さあ、come up with – これは、よく使われる表現ですよ。覚えてください。
「思いつく」というわけです。

③ I didn’t know you were such a romantic. 【名詞も形容詞もある romantic 】
👉 romantic – これは一見「形容詞」のように見えます。もちろん、形容詞としての
使い方もありますが、「ロマンチスト」という名詞の使い方もある単語です。
覚えといてください。

describe affection – how much we like something. There’re many different words with
different nuances. So pay attention to each, and let’s master them altogether.
