「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
などへとゆっくり進めていきます。

◎10月は
▶︎「発言タイプ」ー【さまざまな応答・知識】を勉強します。
「応答」は相手の発言に対するスタンダードな受け答えです。
「知識」はさまざまな「知っているよ」の伝え方。どちらもとっても重要な発言タイプです。

▶︎今回は、強く相手に不同意を伝える表現を学びましょう。

会話の場面

登場人物

・オメガ・ワンの船長メーガン (Megan)
・火星基地にいるアキラ (Akira)

状況

・メーガン船長は、アキラに「月に行く」ように指示を出したのですが、実はそれは ….

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza. Oh, I didn’t understand the joke

Onishi
▶︎ I didn’t say a joke.

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. It’s nice to play among the stars, you guys.
Let’s get started.

Dialogue で

① Commander, why do I have to fly to the moon? 【丸ごと why do I have to 〜？】
👉 why do I have to 〜？- これは、丸ごと覚えるべきフレーズですね。
「なぜ、私は〜しなくてはならいないのでしょうか。」客観的な強い義務を表す have to
が使われています。

② Actually, I’m not.【 actually の役割】
👉相手にとって意外に感じられる発言を導入するのが、この actually「実は」という表現。
しっかりと覚えておきましょう。

③ I wanted to make you smile.【目的語説明型の make 】
👉さあ、make you smile というフレーズが出てきました。目的語説明型です。
you が smile することを make – そうした状況を作り出す、というわけです。

④ What a relief! 【 What a relief! の意識】
👉さあ、What a relief! – relief という単語はですね、「安堵の意識」「ほっとする気持ち」
なんですね。「あ〜、よかった！」それが What a relief! の意識です。
