Opening で
David
▶︎ Umm, maybe, he… ah… he didn’t consider you’re a friend.
I’m David Evans.
Roza
▶︎ Akino Roza desu.
Dialogue で
① I have a present for you.【for のニュアンス】
👉さあ、for という前置詞が出てきましたね。これは「向かって」をイメージする
前置詞です。つまり、ここでは「あなたのために」というわけです。
② It’s … nice.【nice の語感 】
👉さあ、この受け答えから nice という語感が伝わるかと思います。
この “nice” は「良い」と訳されることが多いわけですが、でもさして大きな
感動を含んでいないことがわかりますね。
③ A bunch of old stones in a grassy field?【熟語 a bunch of ~】
👉 a bunch of というフレーズが出てきました。これは「たくさんの」という
フレーズです。
④ Oh, yeah, now I remember. What’s the purpose? 【 remember の意味】
👉さあ、ここで now I remember というフレーズが出てきましたね。
「思い出した」という意味で remember が使われています。
▶︎そして、purpose – これは「目的」という意味でしたね。
