Lesson 6７動詞句の説明②：way、as を説明に使う

▶︎英語は「配置の言葉」
– 語順は「基本文型」と「修飾語順規則」によって決まる。
– Lesson 1 から 9 までは「修飾語順規則」を扱いました。

▶︎Lesson 11 からは Lesson 40までは
「基本文型」の基本を学んできました。

▶︎Lesson 31 から Lesson 53 までは、
節・to不定詞・動詞-ing形・動詞原形・過去分詞の拡張について勉強し、
Lesson 54, 56 では「リポート文の拡張」を学習しました。

▶︎Lesson 57 〜 59 で「命令文」と「there 文」を扱いました。

▶︎７月号からは、「説明ルール」で、
先週は「文の説明」で、今週からは「動詞句の説明」について勉強します。

Dialogue で

① how did you like 〜？
👉これは、何かの感想を相手に求める時によく使わるフレーズです。
まとめて覚えておきましょう。

② It turned the movie into a joke.
👉 turn 〜 into … 「変える」という意味です。
この into は、「変化」を表す前置です。
▶︎ into はもともと「〜の中に」という意味です。
A という状態からB という状態の中に入る – だから「変化」を
表すのです。

③ I can’t wait.
👉 「待ち遠しい」
これもまとめて覚えましょう。非常に便利に使えます。

◎動詞句の説明②：way、as を説明に使う

🔴説明ルールを「動詞句」にも使いこなす！
・今回は、way・as を使ったフレーズを並べます。
[1] way「方法・様子」
▶︎exactly the same way
▶︎「way ＋節」の形 – the way I told you
[2] 「as ＋節」
▶︎ as I told you ※ as のイメージは「イコール(＝)」

experience, right?

▶︎Unfortunately, yes. I lost valuable date, because, you know,
I thought there’s no chance of losing it.
So I didn’t do any backup. Now I do it all the time.
