Dialogue で
① Professor Peacock, you must know a lot about Stonehenge.
👉ここの must「〜に違いない」という使い方です。
しっかりとできるようになってくださいね。
② What is Stonehenge exactly?
👉さあ、ここでは What 〜 exactly? というコンビネーションが出てきました。
「正確に言うと、どういうこと何ですか？」というわけですよね。
◎私ね、この Stonehenge の henge – stone はわかるんですよ – henge が
何を意味しているのかって、ちょっとわかんないなあって、いつも思うんです
けれど…
– So what does “henge” in Stonehenge mean?

▶︎ Roza, you can explain that?
Roza
▶︎ I can. So “henge” is actually a prehistoric circular structure made from
stone and wooden monuments.
③ Nobody really knows.
👉さあ、ここで出てきた nobody knows というコンビネーション
「誰も知らない」というですね、そうした言い方なんですが、
しっかりと覚えておいてくださいね。
④ How was it called?
👉 how「やり方・方法」をたずねる wh語ですね。

Oh, now I see them.
So could you feel the difference there?
“Look” is out deliberately looking in one direction,
but “see” is when it comes to back to you, into your brain.
So with that in mind, let’s practice these sentences.
