▶︎ 11月号からは「時表現」の学習が始まりました。

👉12月号のテーマは「時表現を極める②」。
「時表現」は「指定ルール」に従って使われます。今日から、未来表現の勉強です。

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. Akino Roza here.
Welcome back, and let’s get started.

Chris
▶︎ Chris McVay, sorry.
I, I can’t stop sneezing.

Dialogue で

① the Desperate Rats are going to be on TV tonight.
👉 be going to が使われています。
もちろん、これは推測しているわけではないんです。その「流れの中」に
あるんだ、と。そうした計画があり、そしてそちらに向かっているんだ、
という – そうした感触で使われているわけです。

② I can’t wait.
👉「待ちきれない」という気持ちをこのフレーズにのせて、何度も練習
してみてください。とても使い勝手がいいフレーズです。

③ What time are they on?
👉この on の使い方ですね、しっかりとマスターしてください。
on TV ということですね。TV というそうした活動の上にいる – そうした
感触の on です。

④ sneeze
👉「くしゃみをする」という動詞。しっかりと覚えてください。

⑤ Forget about that.
👉「忘れてくださいね」という言い方。
これも反射的に使えるようにしましょう。

After the Dialogue

won’t make you sneeze and won’t make you feel embarrassed.

So here we want you to keep in mind the nuance of talking
about plans. “The -ing” here is “talking about plans.”
So “Are they having plans?”「計画を表しているからね」
All right. Let’s practice together.

You see this feel of having the plans, the plans for
having another concert. One more time.

– Are they having another concert?

▶︎ Yes, I do.

▶︎ On what subjects?

Chris
▶︎It’s called “Chris’s ramblings,” so little loved place, really.
But I was a bit embarrassed at first because they were
supposed to be about me in my experiences.
But we’ve got a lot of positive feedbacks I feel more
comfortable now.
