8月のテーマは、引き出す・感情を操作する

👉今年度は…
「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
などへとゆっくり進めていきます。

◎８月は
▶︎「発言タイプ」ー【引き出す】【感情を操作する】を勉強します。
日常頻繁にある情報や許可・意見などを相手から引き出したり、励まして
相手の感情を操作する方法についてです。

👉感情操作③ 励ますー状況に問題はない
▶︎「状況に問題はない」と励ます表現を覚えましょう。

会話の場面

登場人物

・ユリコ (Yuriko)
・かつての同僚のモリカワ (Mr. Morikawa)

状況

・ユリコが、かつての同僚モリカワとばったり会って話をしています。
趣味の話、仕事の話などをしているようです。

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. Akino Roza here.

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. Didn’t you know? It’s our six month, two week, one day
and three hour anniversary.

Roza
▶︎ Wow! That’s amazing.

Dialogue で

① I’m shopping for yarn for my knitting. 【動詞の shop 】
👉さあ、ここでは shop が動詞として使われていますね。
「買い物をする」という動詞です。

② You knit?【現在形の持つニュアンス】
👉さあ、ここでは現在形が使われていますよね。
「習慣的に」というニュアンスです。

③ Anyway, Yuriko, how is your job going?【anyway の役割】
👉さあ、この anyway という表現。
それまでの文脈を全部帳消しにして、新しい話を始める時に使います。

④ I got promoted recently, but I’m having lots of problems.
【 get promoted の意味】
👉さあ、ここでは get promoted というフレーズが出てきましたね。
その過去形 got promoted「昇進した」というわけですね。

Practice

David
▶︎ All right, everyone. It’ time for the practice.

Roza
▶︎ Here we’re practicing phrases that support the person you’re talking to.
Sometimes it’s easy to sound dismissive of the person’s feelings.
So I just want you to remember that here we are supporting.

David
▶︎ Great point, Roza. All right. Let’s get to practice.
・Everything will work out.
・Everything will be OK.

Roza
▶︎ Let’s continue.
・It’s OK.
・It’ll be fine.
・You’ll be all right.
・You’ll be fine.
Do you notice the tone in my voice? How soft it feels?
Try to imitate them when you practice too.

▶︎ Here’re a few more.
・Tomorrow is another day.
・It won’t be long.
・It’s not the end of the world.

・You’ll get through this.

▶︎ Those phrases are for more serious topics, aren’t they?

▶︎ They are quite powerful. So be sure to memorize them.
