4月のテーマは会話の原則・発言タイプ

「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
などへとゆっくり進めていきます。
◎そのために
▶︎今月はまず、「会話の原則」について実例あげて取り上げていきます。

Lesson 2 会話の原則②：RIKAI<理解>明瞭に話せ！-謝罪
👉 RIKAI▶︎発言する場合、なぜそうした発言に至るのか、その理由を明確にする
今回は「謝罪」のシーンを使って勉強しましょう。
会話の場面
登場人物
👉大学生のギャリー( Gary) と ヘレン (Helen)
状況
👉２人はデスパレート・ラッツ (Desperate Rats) のコンサートに来ている
※ギャリーは、どのゲートも同じに見えたため開始時間に遅れ、大好きな曲
“Marborough Fair” が既に演奏されてしまい、聞けませんでした。
Opening で
Roza
▶︎ Akino Roza desu.
Chris
▶︎ Oh, I’m David Evans. Let’s have fun today, OK?
Dialogue で
① No problem.【慣用表現】
👉さあ「問題はない」という表現。No problem. という表現が出てきましたね。
一息で使えるように練習をしてください。
②So, have they started the concert yet? 【yet の意味】
👉さあ、この文では最後に yet という単語が使われていますよね。
「まだ・未完」ということを表す単語ですね。
「それでコンサートは始まったのかい？」の後ろに、yet をつけて
「それともまだ？」と聞いてるわけですね。
③ I was surprised. 【頻出表現】
👉さあ I was surprised. この文は、もう英作文をしなくても、一息で口から
出すようにしてみてくださいね。surprised というわけです。
「驚いた」という形容詞として使われています。
④ That really sucks. 【俗語】
👉ひどい表現が来ましたね。もちろん、使っちゃいけないというわけではありませんが、
目上の人とかご両親の前で使うと嫌がられる表現の１つですね。
⑤ Well, maybe they’ll play an encore later. 【発音】
👉 Roza, could you pronounce “encore” again?
Roza▶︎ Sure. Encore, encore.

This kind of expression is useful if you have to turn down an invitation.
