７月のテーマは、動かす② 指示・依頼

「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
などへとゆっくり進めていきます。

◎そのために
▶︎７月も６月に引き続き、「発言タイプ」についてで
人をある方向に「動かす」言語活動の②です。

👉依頼⑤ 現状説明から依頼へ
▶︎「依頼」に至る重要な流れは「現状説明→依頼」です。

会話の場面

登場人物

・秋乃ろーざ (Akino Roza)
・デビッド・エバンス (David Evans)

状況

・ろーざさんとデイビッドさんが収録の間に、大西先生についての話をしていますよ。

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. Akino Roza here.

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans.

Dialogue で

① How do you like working with Onishi-sensei? 【感想を求める定型表現】
👉さあ、ここでは How do you like 〜？と感想を求める定型表現が出てきました。
しっかりと覚えておきましょう。

② Yes, I think he tries to be.【try と未来志向の to】
👉さあ、ここでは try to 〜「〜しようと頑張る、試みる」というフレーズが出て
きましたね。未来志向の to ですよ。

③ Would you mind doing them? 【この表現に対する答え方】
👉さあ、Would you mind 〜？と相手に依頼された時の「答え」にはちょっと
注意が必要です。実際（依頼されたことを）してあげる時には、No を基調とします。
▶︎なぜならば、「あなたは、それが嫌ですか、気になりますか」という質問だから
です。「いいえ、全然気になりませんよ」という、No, not at all. – この答えが
いいですね。

④ I’ll buy you a Big West Pizza as a thank you. 【 as a thank you の意味】
👉さあ、ここの as a thank you というフレーズですね。
「お礼として」というフレーズ、しっかりと覚えておきましょう。

Wow, these are so long! Each of these has a situation, and a request.
To make this easy to practice, let’s just use part of the situation and
the request. OK?

Roza
▶︎ That’s right. So just listen to our examples and repeat with us. OK?

David
▶︎ Here we go!
・I need to get in the shower. Will you answer my phone if it rings? ×2

Roza
▶︎ OK. Let’s continue.
・We need someone to fill in. Could you? ×２

David
▶︎ And here’s one more.
・I can’t get backstage without an invite. I was wondering if you could
get me on the list? ×２

Roza
▶︎ Hey, David. I wanna tell our listeners how great they’re doing.
But I can’t find the words. Could you?

David
▶︎ Sure thing. Everyone, great job!

Roza
▶︎ Excellent work!
