「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
などへとゆっくり進めていきます。

実例あげて取り上げていきます。

会話の場面

登場人物

・アンドロイドのフランキー(Frankie)
・アンドロイドのジーニー(Jeanie)

状況

・公園で二人が話し合っています。二人のわだかまりがなくなり、仲良くなりそうです。

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. Akino Roza here. Let’s have fun today.

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. And I’m feeling as strong and useful as ever.

Dialogue で

① Dr. Frank N. Stein told me that people need their space. 【リポート文】
👉さあ、told me that というリポート文の形が出てきましたね。
told me「私に言いました」その内容を後ろに置いた節に展開される – 説明ルール
の形です。

② I’m sorry for being distant.【distant の意味】
👉 distant – これは「距離のある」という形容詞です。

③ Don’t apologize, Jeannie.【apologize の意味】
👉さあ、apologize – これは「謝罪する」という動詞ですね。
しっかりと覚えといてください。
▶︎ Don’t apologize.「謝罪しないでください」- これも日常時々使いそうな表現
ですね。まとめて覚えておきましょう。

Focus on “really,” OK? Let’s try together.
・So what you really think is that 〜.

Roza
▶︎ OK. Let’s continue to the last few.
・Let me get this straight.
Here you rephrase after. Here’s another one.
・Let me see if I’ve got this.
OK. Let’s try the last one. And this time we rephrase before we say the
practice sentence, OK?
