５月のテーマは会話を始める・正しく理解する

発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
などへとゆっくり進めていきます。

▶︎５月も４月に引き続き、「発言タイプ」について
実例あげて取り上げていきます。

Lesson 26 発言タイプ：話し合いを求める⑤ 引き込む流れ

👉話し合いを求める⑤
▶︎相手の興味を引く話題を持ち出し、自然に話し合いに引き込む流れを作ります。

会話の場面

登場人物

・レンジの友人である高校生のマーク(Mark)
・レンジの友人である高校生のレナ(Rena)

状況

・マークがレンジのところにやってきた家庭教師の話を持ち出し、数学のテストの成績が
よくなったことを話します。

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. Akino Roza here.

David
▶︎ I’m David Evans. Let’s enjoy today’s lesson. Here we go!

Dialogue で

① So what?【頻用表現】
👉さあ、ここで So what? とよく使われるフレーズが出てきました。
「だからどうしたっていうのか」という非常によく使われるフレーズです。

② I told him he didn’t need a tutor.【リポート文】
👉さあ、I told him 以下の文は、リポート文の形をしていますよね。
told him – その内容が、その後ろに置いた形: he didn’t need a tutor という節に
なっているという形をしています。

③ I don’t want to be second to Renji.【be second to 〜】
👉さあ、ここの be second to というフレーズ。
このフレーズは、「〜に負ける」という訳を受けるフレーズですね。
基本的に「２番目になる」というわけです。誰の２番目になるかと言うと、
to 〜と言って、その人を指しているわけですね。
▶︎ Renji を指して、レンジの２番目、つまり「負ける」ということを意味する
わけです。

OK. Let’s try to make this smooth together.
