Opening で

Dialogue で

① I‘ve never heard of him.
👉さあ、have never heard of 〜「聞いたことがない」という表現。
現在完了経験用法の使い方ですが、しっかりと文全体を覚えてみて下さい。
しょっちゅう使い機会はありますよ。

② How so?
👉この so は前のぶん – His style is different. の different を受けているわけですね。
How different? の意味で、How so? と言っているわけです。

③ I’ll be sure to read that book.
👉さあ、be sure to 〜というわけですね。「きっと〜する」というわけです。
「これから」を表す to 不定詞が使われていますね。
