▶︎関係代名詞節による説明(修飾)は、空所(⬜︎)を意識することが一番大切なポイントです。
会話の場面

状況
・読書好きのヘレンが音楽を聴いていたので、CDの話になりますが、どうもヘレンはギャリーから
あるバンドのCDを借りたようです…
Opening で
Roza
▶︎ Helen, everyone. This is Akino Roza. You know, David. Now I’m in a dog
training phase. Are you into anything?
David
▶︎ Yeah, actually I’m in a … I’m in a cooking phase, right now.
Dialogue で
① I do, but now I’m in a music-listening phase.【 代動詞 do の役割 】
👉さあ、I do と出てきました。この do は前の文に出てきた “like to read books on
your tablet” – これ、全体を受けて do と言っているわけです。
▶︎そして、music-listening phase と言っていましたね。
この phase は、「時期」あるいは「段階」というわけです。
