4月のテーマは会話の原則・発言タイプ

👉今年度は…
「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
などへとゆっくり進めていきます。

◎そのために
▶︎今月はまず、「会話の原則」に続き、「発言のタイプ」ついて実
例あげて取り上げていきます。

Lesson 19 発言タイプ：あいさつ⑧ 初対面のあいさつ３

👉あいさつ⑧▶︎初対面のあいさつを印象的にする一言について練習しましょう。

会話の場面

登場人物

・ピーコック教授 (Professor Peacock)
・アキ (Aki) の姪のシホ (Shio)

状況

・ピーコック教授が考古学調査のため日本の南の島を訪れています。
そこで、彼は偶然に友人アキの姪シホに会って、話がはずみます。

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Ho, ho, ho, ho. Akino Roza desu.

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. Ho, ho, ho?

Dialogue で

① 〜 you got married recently.【get married とは】
👉さあ、ここでは got married というフレーズが使われていますよね。
「結婚した」というわけです。
▶︎ get married – get は「〜になる」、そして married というのは
「結婚した状態」つまり、「married 状態になった」というフレーズなんですね。

② I‘ve read all your books, Professor.【現在完了経験用法】
👉現在完了経験用法が出てきましたね。
I’ve read all your books.「読んだことがある」というわけです。

③ I’m not sure about that. 【褒められた後】
👉さあ、相手に褒められた時、I’m not sure about that.
覚えといてくださいね。便利です。

Practice

Roza
▶︎ OK, guys. Now in this practice I want you to focus on connecting
your words, OK?

David
▶︎ Here’s the first.
・Hi. I’m so pleased to meet you. I heard so much about you.

Roza
▶︎ OK. Next example.
Here I want you to focus on connecting “meet” and “you” – “meet you.”
Let’s try it together.
・Nice to meet you. I’ve been looking forward to seeing you.
Excellent.

David
▶︎ All right. Let’s keep going.
・It’s so nice to finally get to meet you.

Roza
▶︎ In our last example, I want to focus on the pronunciation
of “an honor.” Again we connect it here. OK?
・It’s an honor to meet you.
One more time.
・It’s an honor to meet you.
Excellent!

David
▶︎ Very good, everyone.
