「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
◎今年度最終月、３月では、

👉発言タイプ：感謝 ありがとう
▶︎「感謝」に関わる表現を、さらに増やして覚えてましょう。
会話の場面

・スタイン博士 (Dr. Stein)
・博士を見舞いに行った ジーニー (Jeannie) とフランキー
状況
・博士を見舞いに行ったフランキーとジーニー。ジーニーが博士と話していますが、博士の様子はどうなのでしょう？
Opening で

Dialogue で
① I fell down and broke something, I guess.【 fall down の意味 】
👉さあ、fell down すなわち fall down というフレーズが出てきましたね。
これは、「倒れる」というフレーズ。
② He told me he called the ambulance right away.【 tell を用いたレポート文 】
👉 told me の内容を、後ろに置いた節が展開するリポート文の形です。
③ I’m very grateful for that【 grateful と thank you の違い 】
👉 be grateful というフレーズが出てきました。もちろん、これは、thank you「ありがとう」
と直接言うよりも、一歩引いた表現になんですね。「ありがたく思う」というわけです。
