▶︎今回の「流れ」は、「ところで」と話題転換をするときの表現を学びましょう。
会話の場面
登場人物
・イギリスに住んでいるロキシーの祖父母 (Grandpa, Grandma)
状況
・二人が朝食を食べならがら、恋しいロキシーについて話しています。どうも誕生日カードが届いたようですね…
Opening で
Roza
▶︎ Sensei, you always use too much. Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza.
David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. Um.., he’s a meat thief.
Dialogue で
① Care for some more tea, dear?【 care for のニュアンス 】
👉さあ、care for – これは Would you care for 〜？がフル・フォーム ですね。
「〜が欲しいですか・〜はいかがですか」というフレーズ。
しっかりと覚えておきましょう。
② I’ll have another piece of toast …【 I’ll have の意味 】
👉 I’ll have 「食べますよ」という意味で have を使っていますよね。
I’ll have … しっかりと覚えておきましょう。
