・記者会見で、教授に質問をしているエマ・ロック (Emma Rock)

状況

・大ヒット映画の脚本家ピーコック教授に、なぜ教授がこのようなフォンタジー映画の脚本を書いたのかを、Big West Daily News のエマ・ロック記者が質問しています。

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Sensei, I agree with you up to a point, but I think that’s too old.

Onishi
▶︎ Don’t say that.

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza.

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. I’m always up for a Journey through the stars. Let’s get going.

Dialogue で

① … And I’ll take the next question from the lady in blue there.【 in のニュアンス】
👉さあ、the lady in blue – この in blue は、「青い服装をした」というわけですね。
「服を着た」それが、「中に入っている」を想起させるため、in が使われているわけです。

② Professor, you wrote the screenplay for Atlantis Wars.【 screenplay の意味】
👉さあ、screenplay という単語が出てきましたね、これは「映画の脚本」です。
