「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
などへとゆっくり進めていきます。
◎10月は
▶︎「発言タイプ」ー【さまざまな応答・知識】を勉強します。
「応答」は相手の発言に対するスタンダードな受け答えです。
「知識」はさまざまな「知っているよ」の伝え方。どちらもとっても重要な発言タイプです。
Lesson 123 発言タイプ：意見・考えへの応答① 同意する
👉意見・考えの応答① 同意する
▶︎相手の意見・考えに対して「同意する」「そう思いますよ」という表現を覚えましょう。
会話の場面
登場人物
・新入社員のリンタロウ(Rintaro) とアカリ(Akari)
・二人は別の部署で働いています
状況
・久しぶりに会ったリンタロウとアカリは、それぞれの近況を話しているようですよ。
Opening で
Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza.
David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. I’m feeling a bit peckish too. So let’s get to it.
Dialogue で
① Rintaro, it’s been a while. 【 久しぶりに会う人にかける言葉】
👉久しぶりに会う人にかける挨拶の言葉が、この it’s been a while というわけですね。
最後に会った時から、現在までの時間の流れが感じられています。
② I wish I could move around more often.【仮定法は実際にできていないことを表す】
👉さあ、I wish I could 〜. という文が出てきました。もちろん仮定法です。
「〜できたらいいのになあ〜」という表現ですね。実際にはできていない、ということです。
③ But it’s not easy being the new kid on the block. 【 new kid on the block の意味】
👉さあ、new kid on the block – これは「新入り・新顔」というフレーズ。
覚えておきましょう。時々耳にするフレーズです。
④ It takes time. 【 take の「手にとって使う」というイメージは変わらない】
👉 takes time 「時間を手にとって使う」というわけです。
take のイメージは、いつも一定です。
Practice

It’s important to master these phrases for natural conversation as they come up quite often.

▶︎ That’s right, Roza. These phrases are useful in many situations in everyday conversation.
