4月のテーマは会話の原則・発言タイプ

👉今年度は…
「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
などへとゆっくり進めていきます。

◎そのために
▶︎今月はまず、「会話の原則」に続き、「発言タイプ」について
実例あげて取り上げていきます。

Lesson 16 発言タイプ：あいさつ⑤ 共通の話題

👉あいさつ⑤
▶︎あいさつで、相手の共通の話題を持ち出し、会話の「流速」を上げ、本格的な
会話への便利な橋渡しとなります。

会話の場面

登場人物

・ピアノの発表会がうまくいったエイミー (Amy)
・父親のウェイン (Wayne)

状況

・家に帰ってきたエイミーは、父親にコンサートがうまく行ったことを報告。
話は、ストラヴィンスキー先生に及びます。

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. Akino Roza here.

David
▶︎ I’m David Evans. I don’t need a lucky charm to make my luck.
Let’s have a good day today.

Dialogue で

① I didn’t make any mistakes.【make と mistake のコンビネーション】
👉さあ、ここでは make any mistakes という make と mistake の
コンビネーションが出てきましたね。しっかりと覚えておきましょう。

② Finally, I had a perfect performance.【finally – 使いこなそう】
👉そして、finally「とうとう」という表現ですね。
これからも使いこなせるようにしておいてください。

③ Congratulations!【-s のニュアンス】
👉さあ、Congratulations! といって、最後に -s がついていますよね。
この複数の -s、落とさないようにしてください。「おめでとう」という時に
必須の -s です。「おめでとうがいっぱい」という実質的な意味になっているんですよ。

④ By the way, I heard something from Mom. 【話を変える by the way】
👉そして、by the way – 話を変える時によく使われる表現です。
しっかりと覚えておきましょう。「ところで」というわけです。

⑤ I agree. 【気軽に使われる表現】
👉 agree を「同意する」と訳すことが、非常にしばしばありますが、
こんな風に “I agree.” 軽く使われることだってあるわけです。
しっかりと覚えておきましょう。

⑥ She really deserves that award. 【「〜に値する」deserve】
👉そして、deserve という動詞も出てきました。「〜に値する」という動詞。
一回覚えると、頻繁に使う機会のある動詞です。しっかりと習熟してみてくださいね。
