👉３月は、２月に引き続き流れ「フロー」についての学習です。

条件を表すさまざまなフレーズ▶︎
・in case ・as long as 〜・(Let’s) suppose ＋that 節　など

Opening で

▶︎ Chris McVay here. I’m so excited about being here.

Dialogue で

① Oh, it’s getting cloudy.
👉さあ、ここの it’s getting cloudy 説明型オーバーラッピングの形ですね。
it = cloudy が基本です。その上に、be getting という進行形がかぶせる感触
ですね。「cloudy になってきている」まあ、そうしたニュアンスです。

② I have to tell you something.
👉さあ、tell you something というフレーズ、もちろん授与型ですね。
「あなたに何かを伝える」そうした形です。「あげる、くれる」の意味合いですね。

③ I was worried you wouldn’t come back to me.
👉 I was worried この動詞が過去である所が時制の一致を起こして、
you wouldn’t と言って、will の過去形 would が使われていますよね。
時制の一致、しっかりと使いこなしてみてください。

phrases related to conditions.
