👉２月は、1月に引き続き接続詞ついて学習します。

結果のフロー▶︎ so は最重要の接続詞：イメージは「矢印(→)」

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza.

Chris
▶︎ Chris McVay here. Roza, I’m nervous. I’ve never done recording before.

Roza
▶︎ What are you talking about?

Chris
▶︎ I’m just practicing.

Roza
▶︎ Ah 〜.

Dialogue で

① I’d like to introduce a good friend of mine who writes beautiful haiku.
👉 introduce これは「紹介する」という動詞ですね。
しっかりと使えるようにしておきましょうね

② Just relax, and you’ll do fine.
👉さあ、ここの you’ll do fine – この fine という単語に注目ください。
fine というのは形容詞の使い方もありますが、
ここでは do の後ろに出てきますよね。従って、do の説明 -「説明は後ろに置く」
により、副詞の働きをするわけです。
「問題なく、することができますよ」そうしたニュアンスで使われています。

③ Could you speak a little louder, so everyone can hear you?
👉 a little louder「もう少し大きく」というわけですけれども、
こうした副詞の比較級の使い方、しっかりと慣れて下さいね。speak loud と言う
ことができれば、もちろん、それを比較級にして、speak louder と言うことだって
わけです。

Let’s focus on “so” and also “and,” – those two.

・Could you speak a little louder, so every can hear you? ×２

▶︎ OK . The final one.
・I was so nervous that I made many mistakes.
“So” and adjective and “that” is another way of expressing result.
