👉２月は、1月に引き続き接続詞ついて学習します。

Lesson 217 理由・原因のフロー ③

「理由・原因」を表す表現 ▶︎今回は、名詞を伴うフレーズ
① thanks to 〜　　　　　② due to 〜　　　　③ because of 〜

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza. Chris, you deserve to be here.
Thanks to your performance, we always have a great show.

Chris
▶︎ Thank you, Roza. I find it all so exciting. Chris McVay here.

Dialogue

① You‘re in the movie, Yayoi, …..
👉さあ、you’re in the movie – be動詞の後ろに前置詞句をポンと置く、
説明型の文で、説明語句にはさまざまな表現が使えます。

② so you deserve to be here.
👉そして、ここでは deserve という動詞が出てきましす。
「〜の価値がある」あるいは「〜して当然である」そうしたことを表す
重要動詞です。

③ I had so much fun working with you at Tokyo Tower last summer.
👉さあ、ここの I had so much fun – これはもう、何も見なくても言えるように
しっかりと暗記・暗唱をしておきましょう。
▶︎ fun はもちろん名詞ですから、so much と言って修飾を行うわけです。
そして、had so much fun – その出来事と一緒に何が起こったのかを、
working with 以下が説明しています。

Two hours later, I found a couple arguing in the middle of the road.

So dangerous too!

▶︎ Yeah, the traffic jam was due to the 渋滞.
