👉今年度は「ラジオ英会話」のテーマは英文法のマスターです。
効率的で、本質的な文法を学んで「話せる」英語に近づきましょう。

Dialogue で

① Bob, do you remember that watercolor I painted?【 watercolor の意味】
👉 watercolor – これは、「水彩画」というわけですね。

② Yes, I entered it in an art contest and won second place!
【ここでの enter の意味】
👉はい、entered it – enter ここでは「入れる」という意味ですね。
「アート・コンテストに入れる」というわけですから、「応募する」という訳に対応します。

③ Congratulations!【複数形になっているニュアンス】
👉さあ、「おめでとう」という時に、Congratulations! -s, s をしっかりとつけるようにしてくださいね。「おめでとう」がいっぱい、というわけです。

④ To tell you the truth, I wasn’t very confident, but I did my best.
【 to tell you the truth の意味】
👉さあ、ここで to tell you the truth「本当のことを言うと」というわけですね。
