私たちが日々行なっている、可能性や重要性、難易、優先などの判断を精度高く
表現することが目標です。

▶︎「そんなの簡単！」と自信を伝える表現を学びましょう。

会話の場面

登場人物

・レンジ (Renji)
・家庭教師のアオイ (Aoi)

状況

・英語の宿題が終わったレンジ。それを家庭教師のアオイが見ると、ケアレスミスがあって ….

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza. Ready for today’s lesson?

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. Let’s get to it.

Dialogue で

① Let me check it. 【目的語説明型をとる let】
👉さあ、let me check it – これは目的語説明型ですね。
目的語説明型は、目的語と説明語句の間に「＝」あるは「主語・述語」の関係が
ある形です。ここでは、「私が check it することを、許し (let) て」という文に
なっていますね。

② Check your answers thoroughly next time. 【 thoroughly の発音】
👉さあ、ここでは thoroughly という難しい単語が出てきましたね。
ちょっと二人と一緒にですね、練習しておきましょうか。
Could you pronounce, you know, the word?
Roza ▶︎ Sure. “Thoroughly.”
David ▶︎ “Thoroughly.”

Practice

Roza
▶︎ OK, everyone. It’s time to practice. Now today I want you to do it with
your eyes closed. That’s right. Even if you have a textbook, try to practice
with your eyes closed. And see if you discover something new.

David
▶︎ All right. Let’s get to it.
・I could do it with my eyes closed.
・I could do it blindfolded.
・I could do it with one hand tied behind my back.
・I could do with both hands tied behind my back.

Roza
