▶︎ Right.
Dialogue で
① Shiho, I’m really enjoying living on this island.
👉 on this island – island には on を使う。
上に乗っている感じがするからでしょうね。
② I spent a lot of time outdoors at a volunteer event yesterday.
👉この outdoors という表現。ここでは副詞の働きをしていることに注意をして
みて下さい。spent a lot of time – その後ろに置かれて、「外で」それが
outdoors が表していることなんですね。
③ Well, only a few people came.
👉 only a few, これは「ほんのわずかの」というフレーズ。
しっかりと覚えてみて下さい。

▶︎ Well, I’m nowhere near as good as I was in my twenties.
But I still enjoy playing a lot and have a reasonably good level.
