「日本語を経由せず、英語を使う力」を養います。

👉 go のイメージは「元の場所から出ていき進んでいく」
※ Lesson 27から go を扱っています。

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Anyway, let’s get started, guys.
This is Akino Roza.

▶︎ Chris McVay here. I like David, actually.

Dialogue で

① it’s not a baby grand like yours, 〜
👉さあ、ここでは yours という単語が出てきましたね。
a baby grand like yours – このようにですね、yours という形を
ここで使えるというのは、非常に高い英語力だと、私は思います。
「あなたのピアノ」ということを意味しているわけです

② Actually, I made the main dish.
👉さあ、actually という単語がまず出てきましたね。
これは「実は」という単語です。相手にとって意外なことを持ち出す時に、
使われる定番表現ですね。

③ I think Amy wants to hear another piece by Debussy.
👉そして piece – これは「作品」という意味で使われている
わけですね。

▶︎ Chris, Debussy is the English pronunciation, right?

▶︎ Debussy, yes, that’s right.

Onishi
▶︎ Can you pronounce it the French way?

Chris
▶︎ The French would say, Debussy.

▶︎ I prefer the French, actually,

④ I’d love to, 〜
👉 I’d love to – これは、I would love to ということですね。
I would like to – それの強調バージョン、それが would love to
覚えておいてくださいね。

⑤ I’ll drive you to the station.
👉非常にシンプルな文ですけれども、こうした文が作れるかどうかが、
ポイントなんですね。なんとかこの drive の使い方、しっかりと
音読・暗唱を通じて、頭の中に入れてみてください。

simplest practices for you. We’re going to practice the verb -to go.
And the image is just “leave.”
