Words and Phrases
● debt-to-income ratio ▶︎返済負担率
– 年間返済額を年収で割って、× 100 の数字。
debt は借金ですから、収入に対する年間返済額の割合のこと。
Alternative Expressions
◎ be scheduled for 〜
👉〜に予約されている。
▶︎ schedule は名詞だけでなく、このように動詞としても
使われます。
◎ pencil in
👉仮押さえする
▶︎ pencil ここでは「鉛筆で書く」という動詞として
使われています。
▶︎ pencil in で「鉛筆で書き込む」
鉛筆だから、後で消せるということで「仮押さえ」という
意味になります。
最後に
◎ 日本では、住宅ローンを組む場合、連帯保証人を立てたり、見つからない場合は、
保証会社に委託することもありますが、アメリカではどうでしょうか？
It’s common to need a cosigner if a person’s credit score is low or underdeveloped.
If somebody has a below average credit score, one way to secure funding would
be a bank loan with the guarantee from the FHA.
