2月のテーマも、感情表現

👉今年度は…
「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。

◎1月に引き続き、2月も
▶︎「感情表現」を学んでいきます。
「驚き」「恐れ」「怒り」など、日常頻繁に経験する
基本的な感情表現をマスターし、会話に彩りを添えましょう。

👉感情㉙圧倒される
▶︎今回は、「何かに圧倒される」そんな時に使われる表現を学びましょう。

会話の場面

登場人物

・ピーコック教授 (Peacock)
・学生のジェシカ (Jessica)

状況

・講義が終わった後、ジェシカがその感想をピーコック教授に話しています。

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza. Sensei, that opening was amazing.

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. There’s lots to do today. So let’s get started.

Dialogue で

① I haven’t seen you recently.【現在完了形のニュアンス 】
👉さあ、ここでは I haven’t see you と現在完了形が使われていますね。
ここまでに至るまでの時間の流れ、過去から今に至る – その視線が感じられる表現です。

② Not really. 【「強い」単語を否定した場合のニュアンス】
👉さあ、Not really. 「強い」単語 really「本当に」が not によって否定され、「それほどでも
ありません」という受け答えになっています。もうまとめて覚えてみてください。

③ Anyway, how did you like the videos in my lecture? 【感想をたずねる決まり文句】
👉そして、How did you like 〜？「〜はお気に召しましたか」と相手に何かの感想をたずねる
お決まりの表現です。

④ I never tire of visiting it. 【「決して飽きることがない」という表現】
👉 tire of – これは「〜に飽きる」という表現ですね。
そして never が使われているので、「決して飽きることがない」という表現になっています。

“Wow…..” almost a speechless kind of feeling. So capture that emotion when we practice
today.
