発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。

◎９月は
▶︎「発言タイプ」ー【感情・行動・考え方を操作する】を勉強します。
先月に引き続き「感情操作」、そしてさらに相手の「行動」や「考え方」の
操作です。
Lesson 103 発言タイプ：感情操作⑦ 褒める
👉感情操作⑦ 褒めるー資質を褒める
▶︎今回は「相手に備わった資質」を褒める表現を学びましょう。
会話の場面
登場人物
・家庭教師のアオイ (Aoi)
・その生徒のレンジ (Renji)
状況
・レンジはなんと陸上選手として競技を始めました。その様子をアオイが見ていたよう
です。
Opening で
Roza
▶︎ Akino Roza here.
David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans.
Dialogue で
① I haven’t run like this in a while.【 in a while の意味 】
👉さあ、ここで in a while というフレーズが出てきましたね。
「しばらくの間」ということです。
② You definitely have what it takes. 【 definitely の役割 】
👉さあ、definitely という強調の単語が出てきました。
「絶対」という意味合いです。使いこなしてくださいね。
③ But it’s all due to your support.. 【 原因を表すフレーズ due to 】
👉さあ、due to – これは「原因」を表すフレーズですね。きちっとしたフォーマルな
感触がします。
▶︎おそらくレンジ君は、家庭教師のアオイさんんい丁寧な言葉遣いをしようと思って、
このフレーズを使っているんしょうね。
④ I almost gave up on running. 【 give up on 〜 の意味 】
👉そして、gave up on 〜 というフレーズも出てきました。
give up on 〜 これは「〜を断念する」というフレーズ。

▶︎ As we mentioned in the past, you noticed that in some of these sentences,
you can really notice the important words being emphasized..
So keep an ear up for that.
David

▶︎ Do you see how David emphasized “knew“?
OK. Let’s try a couple more.
・You’ve got what it takes.
・You have what it takes.
Here I emphasized “got” and “have.”
David
▶︎ OK? Here’s a few more.
・You’re the best coach there is.
・You’re the best English teacher there is.
・You’re the best cook there is.

▶︎ Got to be careful not to say “you’re A goat” there, right?
