2月のテーマは接続詞　発言の流れを作る

👉２月は、1月に引き続き接続詞ついて学習します。

Lesson 206 主要接続詞⑨：ifー基本

if「もし〜ならば」- 条件を表す ▶︎ポイントは２つ
① if節では「未来のことでも現在形を用いる」
② 帰結を表す節では will や can など、助動詞の使用が標準

Opening で

Roza

Dialogue で

① She‘s always been very popular.
👉さあ、ここで she’s always been 〜というフレーズが出てきましたね。
もちろん現在完了形ですよ。She has always been 〜「今までずっと popular
であった」という内容になっています。

② I’m rather surprised, but I’m very happy for her.
👉 rather という強調語句が出てきましたね。「かなり」という感触です。

Practice

▶︎ OK, guys. Today we’re gonna look at “if.”
As you all know, “if” is the basic conditional.
Now there’re two rhythms that I want you to focus on here.
One is the preposition: If …, …
Or the postposition: … if ….
So we’ve got lots of examples for you. Here we go!
・If you need help, just call me.
・If you have any problems, just call me.
・If anything serious happens, just call me.
