発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。

◎1月から２ヶ月にわたって
▶︎「感情表現」を学んでいきます。
「好き」「嫌い」など、個人差はあれ、感情を述べる機会は頻繁にあります。
基本的な感情表現をマスターし、会話に彩りを添えましょう。

▶︎今回は「躊躇」に関わる表現を学びましょう。

会話の場面

登場人物

・スミス先生 (Mr. Smith)
・ジェッツ先生 (Ms. Jets)

状況

・ウィーンに行く計画があったジェッツ先生ですが、そのことをスミス先生が尋ねると….

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza.

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. OK, you two, before I start having second thoughts,
let’s jump into today’s lesson.

Dialogue で

① Formal today, aren’t we?【付加疑問文 – aren’t we? 】
👉さあ、ここでは付加疑問文 aren’t we? となっていましたよね。
We are formal today – この we are が省略されていることが感じられるというところから
aren’t we? と付加疑問文が作られる、ということです。

② You’re a very proper person, I know. 【 proper の意味】
👉 proper – これは「きちんとした・礼儀正しい」という使い方があります。

② It doesn’t feel right.【 feel right の意味】
👉さあ、feel right – これは「正しいと感じる」ということです。「しっくりくる」という
ニュアンスで使われています。

Hesitation is a normal, natural and valid human emotion, And it’s very important to be
able to express that feeling in English and any language. So let’s master these phrases.
