Lesson 7４ 形容詞＋to不定詞②：難易を表す形容詞
▶︎英語は「配置の言葉」
– 語順は「基本文型」と「修飾語順規則」によって決まる。
– Lesson 1 から 9 までは「修飾語順規則」を扱いました。
▶︎Lesson 11 からは Lesson 40までは
「基本文型」の基本を学んできました。
▶︎Lesson 31 から Lesson 53 までは、
節・to不定詞・動詞-ing形・動詞原形・過去分詞の拡張について勉強し、
Lesson 54, 56 では「リポート文の拡張」を学習しました。
▶︎Lesson 57 〜 59 で「命令文」と「there 文」を扱いました。
▶︎７月号からは、「説明ルール」で、
「文の説明」、「動詞句の説明」を終え、「形容詞＋to不定詞」の２回目です。

👉 このフレーズは「〜に …. を案内する」というフレーズです。
Chris
▶︎ “Around?” What about “round Tokyo”?

▶︎ Well, in America English, you would say, “around.”

② So, what do you and Larry want to eat for lunch?
👉この文では、So を加えて、疑問文 what do you 〜？の「あたり」を
柔らかくして、始めています。このテクニック、ひとつ覚えましょう。
③ check out
👉非常によく使われるフレーズですが、どういうニュアンスをもっている
んでしょうか。ちょっと2人に聞いて見ましょうか。

▶︎ So, what’s the nuance of “check out”?
Chris
▶︎Well, for me, “check out” basically requires some action
it’s to go somewhere to learn about something.
Roza
▶︎And you can also say, “check it out.”

▶︎この文では please の目的語がありません。
この空所□が主語の He と一致して pleae him という意味関係を作ります。

when he is hungry. Give him some time to digest it,
