Words and Phrases
● be late
– 本文では、you’ve never been late と言っていますけれど、
「遅刻しない」という意味ではなく、
「期限をきっちりと守る、time management がしっかりしている」
という褒め言葉になります。
● inward ▶︎インバウンドの
– 海外から国内への、となります。
Business Phrase of the Day
● assign
👉仕事の担当や責務について「割り当てる、任命する」という意味
– be assigned to
「〜に配属される・任命される」

これも頻繁に使われる単語です。
Alternative Expressions -転属・配属を知らせるときのフレーズ
◎ be transferred to
👉この transfer は「転勤させる、移動させる」
という動詞です。
◎ be appointed to
👉 appoint は「指名する・任命する」という意味です。
◎ take on a new role
👉 take on は「引き受ける」という意味のフレーズです。
Upgrade Your Communication Skills
”人事異動の連絡をする”
◎ be in good hands
👉 良い手の中にいる、ということで
「守られる、安心して」という意味になります。
◎ I hope I’ll have the opportunity to work with you in the future.
👉上司なら、to work with you の代わりに、
「仕える」という意味の to serve you というフレーズも使えます。

Personally, I’ve experienced two-job changes and twelve transfers in total.
Every time I was assigned a new responsibility, I needed to learn new tasks
and new relationships. I sometimes find it challenging, but I’ve enjoyed these
changes.
