Lesson 59 thereを用いた存在を表す文
▶︎英語は「配置の言葉」
– 語順は「基本文型」と「修飾語順規則」によって決まる。
– Lesson 1 から 9 までは「修飾語順規則」を扱いました。
▶︎Lesson 11 からは Lesson 40までは
「基本文型」の基本を学んできました。
▶︎Lesson 56までで、基本文型を使いこなすための
節・to不定詞・動詞-ing形・動詞原形・過去分詞の拡張について勉強しました。
▶︎今回は、「there を用いた存在を表す文」を勉強します。

Roza

Dialogue で
① particularly「特に」
👉これは、何か、その例を、目立った例をつまみ上げる、
つまみ上げて示す、そうした感触がある単語です。
② Anyway
👉 これは、それまでの文脈を断ち切る働きがある単語です。
「それはそうと」と話を完全に変えていくわけです。
③ You‘re always losing your keys.
👉進行形に always が使われています。これは習慣を表す使い方。
– always あるいは constant – 常に、絶え間なく – こうした
単語が一緒によく使われます。
※この進行形の形、これは何かこう否定的なニュアンスがあります。
「あなたはいつも〜したばっかり」
日本語でも同じですね。このニュアンスごと覚えておきましょう。

As always, let’s grasp the native speakers’ feeling when we practice.
So what is the feeling of “there’s”?
– It’s introducing some new or previously unknown information.
So the feeing is “There’s,” What? What? Are you ready for the new information?
– That’s how we should practice.
Are you ready?
“There’s a hole in my pocket.” You try? Once more.
“There’s a hole in my pocket.”
– You’ve got it. Well done.

・初めて話に引っ張り込む – there ＋ be動詞
👉「〜がいる・ある」
👉未知のものを there のクッションを置いてから導入

You dig deeper into the history of words, and get to know them
more deeply.
