Lesson ７ 語順が大切⑥：否定のnot
▶︎英語は「配置の言葉」
👉Lesson 7 は「指定ルール」の２つ目、”not” を扱います。
Opening で

Dialogue で
① You see!
👉「ほら、やっぱりね」「見てごらんなさい」この使い方
しっかり覚えましょう。
② the same idea
👉same があるので、the が着きます。もちろん「同じ」という
ことですから、「１つ」に決まる the が使われます。
③ last year
👉去年
④ propose：提案する
👉真剣に考えて、しっかり考えた末に「提案する」というニュアンス
⑤ have to
👉「〜しなければならない」しっかり覚えましょう。
⑥ unusual
👉「普通じゃない」
⑦ I guess
👉guess は「推測する」そんな風に難しい日本語訳になることが
多いですが、think とどう違うのでしょうかね。ろーざさんに
聞いてみましょうか。
So, any difference between “I guess”
and “I think”?
With “I think,” you really think so
whereas when you say “I guess,”
you’re kind of not so sure.
Ending で
Hey, who ate my apple pie?
Not, not, not me! It’s Roza!
It’s not me!

I ate it MYSELF, sorry!

Words and Phrases
① apologize for 〜
👉〜に謝罪する
② bump into 〜
👉「〜にぶつかる」そこから「バッタリ会う」
③ make me laugh
👉私を笑わせる
– me = laugh の状況を作り出す(make)
