👉今年度は…
「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
などへとゆっくり進めていきます。

◎10月は
▶︎「発言タイプ」ー【さまざまな応答・知識】を勉強します。
「応答」は相手の発言に対するスタンダードな受け答えです。
「知識」はさまざまな「知っているよ」の伝え方。どちらもとっても重要な発言タイプです。

👉意見・考えへの応答⑦ いったん引いて不同意を伝える
▶︎「引いて押し」て、不同意を伝える表現を学びましょう。

会話の場面

・大学生のヘレン (Helen) とギャリー (Gary)
※大学の寮で

状況

・ヘレンがギャリーに、本棚が足りなくなったと話をして、電子書籍も話題になっていますが…

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hi, everyone. This is Akino Roza. Ready for today’s lesson?

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans.

Dialogue で

① Wow, Helen, you’ve got a lot of books already? 【 you’ve got = you have 】
👉さあ、you’ve got というフレーズが出てきましたね。これは、you have と同じです。

② I do sometimes, but real books have their advantages. 【前の文を受ける do 】
👉 I do sometimes というフレーズが出てきましたね。この do は、もちろん
(前の文の) read e-books を受けています。

③ Such as? 　【 such as の機能】
👉 such as というのは、例を導入する時に使われるフレーズですが、疑問文で使われると、
相手に例を求めて、「どんな？」という意味合いをもつことになります。

Practice

in everyday conversation very frequently.

▶︎ So be sure to master them. So you can use them without thinking.

David
▶︎ All right. Our first example has many variations. You can choose whichever you like
the most. Here we go!
・I see your point, but 〜.
・I take your point, but 〜.
・I get your point, but 〜.
Here’s a few more.
・I see what you mean, but 〜.
・I get what you mean, but 〜.
・I understand wha you mean, but 〜.

▶︎ Great! Let’s continue with a couple more examples.
・I understand where you’re coming from, but 〜.
・I get where you’re coming from, but 〜.

▶︎ All right. And here’s one more.
・I hear you, but 〜.
