9月のテーマは、感情・行動・考え方を操作する

「感謝したい」「頼み事をしたい」といった、
発言のタイプ別おすすめ表現を多数学びます。
などへとゆっくり進めていきます。

◎９月は
▶︎「発言タイプ」ー【感情・行動・考え方を操作する】を勉強します。
先月に引き続き「感情操作」、そしてさらに相手の「行動」や「考え方」の
操作です。

👉行動の変更をうながす⑥ 期待外れを指摘する
▶︎期待した行動をとらなかった相手を批判する表現を学びましょう。

会話の場面

登場人物

・宇宙船オメガ・ワンの船長メーガン (Megan)
・火星基地にいるアキラ (Akira)

状況

・メーガン船長とアキラが交信しています。アキラはもう地球に戻れると思っていたの
ですが、次の行く場所は …

Opening で

Onishi
▶︎♬ Fly me to the moon. Let me play among the stars.♫

Roza
▶︎🎶 In other words, hold my hand.♩
Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza.

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. ♩In other words, baby, kiss me.🎵

▶︎ No, thank you.

Dialogue で

① Commander, are you reading me?【read の意味に注意】
👉 reading me? というフレーズが出てきましたね。この動詞 read は、
ここでは「聞き取る、了解する」といった意味で使われています。
無線の交信とかで、よく使われる使い方ですよ。

② Akira, we are reading you loud and clear. 【 loud and clear の意味】
👉 loud and clear これは「はっきりと、明瞭に」決まり文句ですね。

③ But first we’ll have to fly you to the moon.
【 will と have to のコンビネーション】
👉さあ、will have to – 助動詞 will と have to のコンビネーションが出てきました。
未来の状況をチラッと will でながめて、そしてその時には have to しなければならない、
というわけですね。
▶︎will のチラッと未来に目をやる感触、つかんでください。

④ I didn’t expect my commander to do this to me.【目的説明型の expect】
👉さあ、動詞 expect を使った目的語説明型が出てきましたね。
my commander が to do this to me する方向に動くことは、私は期待していません
でした、というわけですね。

⑤ In other words, you’re upset. 【 in other words の意味】
👉 in other words – これは「別の言い方をすると」というフレーズです。
