👉今年度は「ラジオ英会話」のテーマは英文法のマスターです。
効率的で、本質的な文法を学んで「話せる」英語に近づきましょう。

・家庭教師のアオイ (Aoi) と生徒のレンジ (Renji)

状況

・レンジは、先日日本史のテストを受けて、結果が戻ってきたようです。そのことについてアオイと
話していますよ。

Opening で

▶︎ Seriously?

▶︎ Seriously.

▶︎ Hey, everyone. This is Akino Roza.

David
▶︎ And I’m David Evans. OK, everyone. Let’s get started.

Dialogue で

① So, Renji, how did you do on the Japanese history test?
【 on のニュアンス】
👉さあ、on the Japanese history test – この on がちょっと選択としては難しいかも
しれませんね。この on はですね、基本的には、on Sunday とか on business の on
なんですね。何かのプラットフォーム、何かのステージの上で活動が行われる感触を
表しています。ここでは、「そうした history test という舞台の上で、あなたの
パフォーマンスは、どうしてたか？」とたずねているわけです。

② Wow, that’s your highest score in that subject so far.【 so far の意味】
👉さあ、so far -「今まで」というフレーズが出てきましたね。しっかりと覚えて
おきましょう。

③ Thanks to your help. 【 thanks to 〜の働き】
👉さあ、ここに出てきた thanks to 〜これは「〜のおかげで」という接続詞的な
働きをしています。

④ Most of the other students got lower scores. 【 most of 〜の意味】
👉そして、most of the other students – most of 〜「〜のほとんど」という
フレーズ。こちらも覚えておきましょう。
