前置詞の学習です。

▶︎ Hi, guys. Chris McVay here. Now I promise I wouldn’t say
anything negative, but I’m struggling not to.
I’ll just keep my mouth and say,
“Let’s get on with today’s lesson.”
Dialogue で
① Wow, I didn’t even know he was born in Mie prefecture.
👉さあ、ここで even「〜さえ」という単語が出てきましたね。
「知りさえしなかった」というわけです。
② Yes, not many people are familiar with that fact.
👉この not many people「それほど多くの人々が〜しているわけじゃない」
という出だしですよね。しっかりマスターしてみてください。
③ There’s a castle nearby too.
👉そして castle – これは「城」ですね。
👉そして、その後ろ nearby という単語が使われています。
これは「近くに」というわけですね。
④ Oh, that’s unusual.
👉 unusual というのは、usual – 普通の・普段の – ではない、という
わけですね。つまり、「珍しい」ということです。

Now the challenge today is, after the lesson is over, I want you to
look at each example, and figure out how this basic image of
“togetherness” is in each example. So “togetherness” is the key.
