Lesson 1２ 基本文型 他動詞型②：動詞のイメージと文型
▶︎英語は「配置の言葉」
– 語順は「基本文型」と「修飾語順規則」によって決まる。
– Lesson 1 から 9 までは「修飾語順規則」を扱いました。
▶︎Lesson 11 からは「基本文型」を扱います。
– 英語文中の表現配置の中で最も大切なのが、
文の設計図である「基本文型」- 今回は「他動型」の２回目です。

① Like this?
👉この like は前置詞的な働きを持っています。
「〜のような」
② that’s fine
👉 fine (形容詞)「問題ない」▶︎fine のイメージは、
「なにもにごりがない、スッキリ！」ここから
that’s fine で「何も問題はない」
③ What does it mean?
👉「それは何を意味しますか。」こうした疑問文を発したい
ケースは度々あるものです。しっかりと丸ごと覚えましょう。

Well, I know it exists, but I
wouldn’t say it’s that popular.
Yeah, in the countries I know best,

I think. But in Spain it’s quite popular.
Words and Phrases
① 他動型(動詞)
👉「動詞の働きかけが、対象である目的語に直接及ぶ」形
② see (他動型)
👉「見える」 see が直接目的語を視覚でとらえている
③ look at
👉前置詞を伴い「目を向ける」という単なる動作を表す
④ watch (他動型)
👉対象を視覚がとらえ「ジッと注視している」様を表す
⑤ passers-by
👉通行人
⑥ sip
👉少しずつ飲む
