👉３月は、２月に引き続き流れ「フロー」についての学習です。

場面に出てきた話題を使って上手に話題を転換するフレーズ▶︎ speaking of 〜

Opening で

Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. Akino Roza here. I feel like starting the lesson now.

Chris
▶︎ Hi, guys. Chris McVay here. I feel like taking a nap. We’ve got work to do.

Dialogue で

① Gary, how did you do on the math test?
👉さあ、ここの how – 様子をたずねる wh語ですね。
こうした使い方が出来れば、素晴らしいですね。

② I feel like relaxing now.
👉さあ、ここでは feel like relaxing というフレーズが出てきましたね。
「〜したい気がする」というわけなんですが、この like ってどういう意味の like
なんでしょうかね。ちょっとお二人に聞いてみましょう。
Roza ▶︎ It’s like “なんか、みたいな” 感じ.
Chris ▶︎ Yeah, I agree.

③ I’d play an online game, but I’m kind of bored with those.
👉さあ、kind of という「なんとなくちょっと」というフレーズが出てきました。
後ろの表現 (bored) をソフトにする表現ですね。しっかりと覚えておきましょう。
▶︎そして bored。bore という動詞は「退屈させる」という動詞ですね。
従って、過去分詞の bored「退屈させられる」そこから「退屈する」という主語の
心理を表す形容詞となっているわけです。

④ Aren’t the computer graphics very basic?
👉さあ、ここで出てきたのは否定疑問文ですね。
「〜ではないのですか」という疑問形ですよね。基本的には、be動詞、あるいは
助動詞、あるいは do, does, did – そうした助動詞的な要素、それに not を
つけるだけで作ることのできる簡単な形をしています。
しっかりと使いこなして下さいね。

⑤ It’s nostalgic.
👉 nostalgic という形容詞が出てきましたね。
「昔を懐かしく思い出させるような」というわけですね。

So you’re talking about something else, and then you switch.
