Words and Phrases

– only one ということですね。
● take questions ▶︎質問を受ける
– プレゼンテーションでは、よく使われるフレーズです。
● Over to you. ▶︎あなたの番です。
– floor を使って、The floor is yours. などとも言います。

👉オンライン参加者に対してチャットボックスの利用を促すフレーズ
◎ feel free to 〜
👉「自由に〜してください」つまり「遠慮なく〜してください」となります。
◎ type 〜 in the chat box
👉チャットボックスにタイプする、つまり「入力する」です。

◎ paste the link
👉 paste(ペーストする) は日本語にもなっていますね。
◎ type the word
👉単語を入力する
◎ chat window
👉 chat box と同じ意味です。
◎ write in the chat box
👉「書き込む」は、type ではなく、write を使います。

聴衆の心をいかに grab するかが成否の明暗を分けると言えるでしょう。

It’s very convenient for clarifying information and in groups.
It’s a great way to allow everyone to ask questions without talking over
each other.
Chat boxes can also be used to visualize information.
Sometimes it’s helpful to see things written out, or you can post links
with further information.
