Lesson 11 基本文型 他動詞型①：基本設計図
▶︎英語は「配置の言葉」
– 語順は「基本文型」と「修飾語順規則」によって決まる。
– Lesson 1 から 9 までは「修飾語順規則」を扱いました。
▶︎Lesson 11 からは「基本文型」を扱います。
– 英語文中の表現配置の中で最も大切なのが、
文の設計図である「基本文型」- 今回は「他動型」についてです。
Opening で
Hey, everyone. Thanks for joining us again for
another Monday lesson. This is Roza Akino.
Hi, guys. Chris McVay here. You know,

Dialogue で
① How do you 〜？
👉 how は「やり方・方法」をたずねる wh語。
「どうやって」という意味でうs。
② keep it so shiny
👉 it = so shiny に keep するという意味です。
目的語説明型
③ pride and joy
👉よくこの２つはコンビネーションで使われます。
覚えておきましょう。
④ She’s my pride and joy.
👉車を “she” で受けていますけど…..
Does it sound strange to use
pronoun “she”?
Not at all.
No. We often use it for, like big shops,
for example. And our own car, “she,” is
quite natural to us, I think.
⑤ give me a ride
👉「私を車に乗せる」
▶︎イギリス英語だと、 give me a lift と言います。
⑥ Sure, no problem.
👉「もちろん、いいよ(問題ありません)」まとめて、一息で言えるように。

👉take は「手に取る」＋off は「離れて」▶︎外す・脱ぐ
④ get in
👉get は「動き」がイメージ＋ in は「中」▶︎乗り込む

👉〜から最高/最善を引き出す
